Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of ultrasound supragingival scaling and the comfort of doctors and patients before and after systematic training.Methods:A total of 180 patients with chronic gingivitis were treated for the supragingival scaling by three nurses before and after training respectively.The bleeding on probing(BOP)and gingival bleeding index(GBI)were compared and analyzed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and the comfort of patients and doctors during the operation.Results:Before and after training,the BOP and GBI were significantly reduced(P<0.05).Furthermore,the efficacy of the treatment and the comfort of the patients and doctor were greatly improved.Conclusion:The systematic training of ultrasound supragingival scaling is conductive to improve the clinical results,the operational efficiency and the comfort of the patients and doctort.
