WhatsApp just rolled out a big update on iPhone that makes the world’s most popular messaging service even more useful.

Users can now pin chats to the top of their conversation list to make them easier to find, and share files of any kind with their friends and colleagues.

With over 1 billion users around the world, WhatsApp is the ultimate cross-platform messaging service. It rose to fame by making messaging simple, but in recent years, it has been adding powerful features to compete with rival services.

Its latest update continues that trend, and makes WhatsApp even more useful. Users now have the ability to share any file type with their contacts. The maximum size limit of each file is 128MB on iOS, 100MB on Android and Windows Phone, and 64MB in WhatsApp Web.

In addition, you can now pin your favorite chats to the top of the Chats screen. This makes them easier to find, even if it’s been a while since new messages appeared in the conversation. To use pinning, simply swipe right on a chat and tap the pin icon.

Finally, when you receive multiple photos in WhatsApp, you can tap and hold on the group to quickly forward or delete all of them in one go.

A WhatsApp beta update first confirmed expanded file sharing in late June, and the feature rolled out soon after on Android. However, those with an iPhone are only just receiving the update today. You can download it now from the App Store.
