They say form is temporary, class is permanent and Lee Trundle is the embodiment of that phrase.

Despite closing in on his 41st birthday, the former Swan is still producing the tricks and flicks week in, week out for Llanelli Town.

And last night, the Liverpudlian got a chance to show off one more time in front of a televised audience as he turned out for a Swansea City Legends XI in Alan Tate's testimonial at the Liberty Stadium.

Taking a lofted diagonal pass, Trundle, who spent four years with the Swans, caught the ball on his thigh and balanced it there for a few seconds - presumably giving his teammates and the fans in attendance a chance to process what he had just done.

It was not just Trundle who was rolling back the years however.

Despite Manchester United Legends running out 4-2 winners, arguably the goal of the night went to Andy Robinson - who looped a delightful chip over the helpless United 'keeper from outside the box.

It's not the first time Trundle has produced some incredible moments of skill on the pitch, as shown below in this montage of his remarkable debut season for Llanelli - including a outrageous penalty where he feinted tying his bootlaces, only to place it past the motionless goalkeeper.
