He’s also not into the confessional 4:44: “That should be left to your fuckin’ psychiatric fuckin’ chair, innit?”

Liam Gallagher continues to charm, as the press cycle for his upcoming solo debut As You Were hums along. He recently renamed A$AP Rocky (“WhatsApp Ricky”), had some choice words for James Corden, and blasted Dave Grohl for playing a show with a broken leg. Now, in a new interview with Noisey, the former Oasis singer shares his candid thoughts on a wide range of topics, including swimming (“Fuck the sea. I ain’t going in that.”) and his recent “Wall of Glassmusic video (“It’s perfect. Loadsa mirrors, and loadsa me. Fuckin’ can’t go wrong.”). Elsewhere, he reacts to JAY-Z’s confessional turn on 4:44:

Is that a concept album? I’m not interested in that. You can just imagine, can’t you? Someone’s been sat there in a big fuckin’ office and gone, “That’s how we’re gonna do it.” Nah.

That should be left to your fuckin’ psychiatric fuckin’ chair, innit? Sum it all up in one song. The whole fuckin’ record? I’m not having that.

Unsurprisingly, Liam also takes the opportunity to tear apart his brother, Noel. Despite expressing optimism about an Oasis reunion after his solo excursion, he calls Noel “a fuckin’ stalker” and a “working class traitor.” In addition, he mocks Noel’s celebrity friendships and questions his U2 fandom (“I never heard him play one fuckin’ U2 song. And believe you me, I was there at the beginning and the fuckin’ end.”). Read the full story here.
