These People Made Their Adorable Doggos The Best Man & Maid Of Honor At Their Wedding

When I think about getting married and having to choose a bridal party, I get stressed out. I'm one of those people who has a million best friends. How am I supposed to choose one very best friend out of all of those best friends to be my maid of honor?? Ugh, it's just so mean, cliquey, and stressful. I can't even deal with it.

Well, one newlywed couple actually thought of a great way to go around this issue.

Emma-Leigh and Shane Matthew's dogs took on a huge responsibility, as they were the best man and maid of honor at the wedding. IF THAT'S NOT THE PERFECT SOLUTION TO THE MOST STRESSFUL ISSUE OF ALL TIME, THEN WHAT IS?

I, unfortunately, don't have dogs (I'm also not engaged so, like, that's another factor here), so I'm probably not eligible for this tactic when it comes to my wedding in the future. But if you're considering it — or if you just want to see the pics of their LITERALLY ADORABLE dogs — let me give you the deets on Emma-Leigh and Shane's experience.

Here's a picture of Emma-Leigh kissing her big Alaskan Malamute dogs, Niko and Phil.

How cute are they?!

The couple put a lot of effort into trying to find a venue that would be open to letting them have their huge dogs with them. “Most venues we tried frowned upon dogs as soon as they saw the size of them or had too many rules about where the dogs could and couldn't go,” Emma-Leigh told The Huffington Post.

Luckily, though, they found a mansion in England who said Niko and Phil were welcome!

Here are the guests of honor mingling with some lesser humans.

Niko even had a special floral, wedding-themed collar for the event, while Phil had an adorable collar and bow-tie for the big day. Phil even got an extra honor by getting the responsibility of videotaping the wedding! His mom and dad gave him a GoPro camera to wear on his collar so he could film the whole ceremony.

"The dogs were part of every part of the wedding and didn't really leave our side," the newlyweds said.

The couple also has a cat who, unfortunately, didn't make the cut for the wedding.

Yep, their cat Milo wasn't allowed at the "dogs only" venue, but that doesn't mean he didn't get dressed up for the event, too. I mean, check out that bowtie.

And don't worry; Milo was included when the couple had figurines of him, along with Niko and Phil, on their cake.

And finally, here's a video of the couple walking down the aisle with their dogs.

Break out your tissues, people. This is an adorable tear-jerker.

Cheers to Emma-Leigh And Shane! Now, BRB, adopting dogs to train to perfection and make them my best friends just in time for my future wedding.
