Trump Campaign Quietly Adds Disclosures to Trump TV Videos

President Donald Trumps reelection campaign quietly added disclaimers to a series of news-themed campaign videos on Monday, as campaign finance experts noted that the videos, posted to the campaigns social media accounts, failed to note that they were paid for by the campaign. Its not clear that they required such disclosuresdigital-only campaign ads are not subject to the same disclosure rulesbut Facebook edit logs show that a disclaimer was added late on Monday afternoon. YouTube videos uploaded the same day also note the campaign paid for the videos. They feature newly minted Republican Party spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany and Lara Trump, the presidents daughter-in-law, broadcasting Real News friendly to the president. Lara Trump is helming the campaign communications effort, The Daily Beast reported on Monday.
