Most recently, team Kaattu revealed the character poster of Asif Ali from the movie. The actor will be seen essaying a character named Nuhukannu in Kaattu. Arun Kumar Aravind, did open up a few thing about Asif Ali's character in Kaattu, through a video posted on the official Facebook page of the movie.

According to the film-maker, Asif Ali's Nuhukannu is a common man, who works at a place very far away from his native place. He does small odd jobs for a living. Kaattu will take the audiences through the small joys and pains of Nuhukannu, his love and much more.

Arun Kumar Aravind also added that after the completion of the script, the team did make a few sketches of the character and Asif Ali resembled the most to those. And the confidence that the film-maker had on Asif Ali, the actor, paved way for the entry of the actor to Kaattu.
