Prior to the official announcement, were skeptical about the rumored crossover between the Rabbids and the Mario crew. But when Ubisoft finally unveiled Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle at E3, the internet changed its tune. It turns out that an XCOM-style game of tactical warfare is exactly the kind of twist that could make the game work for Nintendo Switch owners. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch on August 29, but you can secure your copy early by preordering it from a number of retailers have already posted their listings.
Now all you have to do is decide are which edition to buy and where to buy it. To help you make the choice, we’ve gathered up all of the information you need to know.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Collector’s Edition
If you’re willing to spend a bit more than $60 for the standard edition, you might be interested in the Collector’s Edition, which comes with some extra Mario + Rabbids goodies. Exclusive to GameStop, the Collector’s Edition costs $100 and comes with the core game as well as the following items:
- Collector’s box
- A six-inch figurine of Rabbid Mario made by Ubicollectibles
- A set of 12 physical collector's cards
- The original soundtrack on CD
