We haven't had a chance to play WWE 2K18 yet, but based on the screenshots we've already seen, this could be the best looking WWE video game in history.
WWE 2K's Twitter account posted these side-by-side comparison shots of WWE 2K17 and WWE 2K18 and the improvements are easy to see.

The initial screenshots of Seth Rollins looked fantastic, but with last year's render next to the one above for reference, you can see the impact of the new graphics engine. The lighting is on another level and even objects like the WWE Universal Championship belt looks even more real.
For years, the championship belts didn't fit the player models. As you can see in the Lesnar screenshot, the belt wraps realistically around The Beast Incarnate's waist.
Randy Orton's tattoos pop more in WWE 2K18 and his arms and shoulders look much more realistic on the right as well. One thing we must wait to see is whether each model is as detailed and expertly rendered. In previous games, the renders haven't always been created equally.
I will get hands on experience with WWE 2K18 during SummerSlam weekend. Look for impressions and other news on the game in the coming days.
