Surly (Will Arnett) and his crew of city animals are back for The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature. When their beloved home at the Nut Shop becomes unavailable, Surly must find a new place for everyone to live. The animals take refuge in the city park, but soon after learn of the mayor’s intention to bulldoze the area and build an amusement park. The animals must find a way to fight the destruction of their homes and take back the park as their own.

Will Arnett/Surly
When the Nut Shop – the home that Will Arnett's Surly promised to his friends in The Nut Job – goes up in flames, the trusty squirrel has to scramble to find a new place for everyone to live. He decides on the city park, and the animals are thrilled to camp out in their gorgeous new home, filled with trees and lots of food. Arnett will next be seen as Frank in Show Dogs.

Tom Kenny/Buddy
Surly’s number one sidekick and trusted friend, Buddy, a small blue rat, is voiced by Tom Kenny, whose voice has been heard in a multitude of animated works, including Spongebob Squarepants and The Powerpuff Girls.

Katherine Heigl/Andie
Katherine Heigl lends her voice to Andie, the mother figure of the group and Surly’s sidekick, who works hard to help her friends and ensure that everyone gets along. The Grey's Anatomy alum was recently seen in the movie Unforgettable and back on the small screen on CBS' short-lived Doubt.

Maya Rudolph/Precious
Rudolph joins her Nut Job voice castmates Arnett and Heigl in the sequel, reprising her role as the loveable bulldog the gang rescued from her previous, criminal owners in the first film. Precious then becomes the love interest of her new canine friend, Frankie. Rudolph had a memorable guest turn as Dionne Warwick on Netflix’s The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and this summer will be heard in The Emoji Movie.

Bobby Cannavale/Frankie
Bobby Cannavale makes his Nut Job debut in the sequel as Frankie, the mayor’s French bulldog, who falls in love with Rudolph's Precious. Cannavale recently made appearances in Master of None and Mr. Robot. On the big screen, he lends his voice to the upcoming Ferdinand movie and will be seen in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Bobby Moynihan/The Mayor
Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan gives voice to the Nut Job 2's antagonist, The Mayor, the leader in tearing down the park that has served as a home to all of the animals. The actor appeared on the big screen in this summer's Book of Henry and this fall will be starring in CBS' Me, Myself and I. His animation credits also include The Secret Life of Pets and Inside Out.

Jackie Chan/Mr. Feng
Mr. Feng, the cute but vicious mouse who helps take down the mayor alongside Surly’s crew is voiced by Jackie Chan, who will also voice a character in September's Lego Ninjago movie.

This young star, known for her roles in Transformers: The Last Knight and Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life joins The Nut Job cast as Heather, the mayor’s spoiled daughter and owner of Frankie the French Bulldog.

Fargo’s Peter Stormare joins The Nut Job 2 cast as Gunther, the animal control officer who works hand-in-hand with the mayor to take down the animals and proceed with the creation of the amusement park.

Gabriel Iglesias/Jimmy, Sebastian Maniscalco/Johnny, Kari Wahlgren/Jamie
Gabriel Iglesias, Kari Wahlgren and Sebastian Maniscalco voice three groundhogs resident to the park: Jimmy, Jamie and Johnny, respectively. Iglesias' voice will be heard in multiple upcoming animated films, including The Star, Coco and Ferdinand; Wahlgren has voiced characters in shows such as Fairly OddParents, Uncle Grandpa and Bunsen Is a Beast; Maniscalco was recently seen in The House.
