Star Wars Last Jedi: Bad news amid ‘new full trailer at D23’ rumours
STAR WARS fans may not be getting a new, full trailer for The Last Jedi at D23 after all.
The Disney expo, which takes place in less than two weeks’ time, was thought to feature another, extended preview of the upcoming blockbuster.
However, a US reporter claims to have heard that no such thing will be shown at the event.
Instead, it seems a behind-the-scenes glimpse may be given.
Collider’s editor-in-chief Steven Weintraub tweeted: “hearing we're not getting a new 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' trailer at D23 or Comic-Con.
“Heard some new behind-the-scenes footage at D23.”
It’s been speculated therefore that the third trailer could be as late as October, as with The Force Awakens.
Rogue One, however, released a preview of that kind in August - although as a spin-off, bosses may have felt it needed a slightly more cautious marketing campaign.
As it stands, it’s nearly three months since the teaser trailer for The Last Jedi was released.
