…especially since it is not a Monday! Whoever agrees, raise your hand! 😛

Well, I just wanted to use this pretty stamp set that I recently got – Happy Day from Waffle Flower! And what more motivation than having challenges which are just the right combination! 😀

This card completely evolved from the initial image – not changed, evolved. That’s because the original image is still the same, all the changes came on top of it! 🙂

I started with stamping only the bear and the butterfly, using Hero Arts Charcoal ink. I wanted to color the bear blackish-grey, hence the color choice. In fact, the original idea was just to have the bear and the butterfly in the card.. you can see how that ended up!

Anyway, I colored everything using my Faber Castell color pencils. Once done, I realized the plain white background wasn’t looking good, so I added the soft blue background, then I realized the other side of the card was looking too empty, so I ended up adding more plants there.. you see how it went.. the evolution?? 😀

Finally I ended up with this card. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I added a few splatters before adding it to the panel and adding it to a grey card base.

Submitting this to the following challenges –
