News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the incident which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, November 8, 2016, came about following an argument between the two officers on the sharing formula to be employed.

It was gathered that the duo was given the money after an operation and while the deceased was of the opinion that part of the money should be given to their Divisional Police Officer who assigned them to the job, the assailant would not want anyone to be part of the largesse.
