The Salon Diversions Team is looking for a full-time manager to join our crew! We are an Aveda salon in the heart of the French Quarter with 30 years of business behind us and over 100 years of combined experience in the hair and beauty industry between our owner and stylists. The right person will oversee all operations in the salon to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability, efficiency, and safety. They will also be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining schedules, and promoting our services. Whoever we hire must possess impeccable interpersonal skills. We interact with a wide variety of locals and visitors on a daily basis which requires confidence, emotional intelligence and diplomacy; all in equal measure. We love what we do and we have a lot of fun - come join us!

To Our Loyal and Valued Salon Diversions Clients,

We want to update you about some changes to our service menu and an increase in service prices, all of which will be effective May 2nd, 2023.

Our goal is to be inclusive of everyone wanting to receive a service at Salon Diversions. A couple of years ago we stepped away from gendered verbiage when it came to haircuts, but we found that the default remained for who was receiving what pricing. Because of this we will now price haircuts based on length: Clipper, Short/Medium, and Long. You can find all of the details regarding this in the Cut/Style section under the Services tab on our new website. As always, if you have any questions regarding this or which category you might fall into, we encourage you to reach out to us!

We will also be introducing tiered-level pricing for most of our services as well as an increase in pricing across the board for all of our services. Stylists will fall into Tier 1, 2 or 3 based on a variety of factors. In updating the services we offer in this way, we can continue to provide you with the high standard of service that you have come to expect. Our stylists stay up-to-date on trends and techniques with education offered not only through Aveda, but also through other avenues that they seek on their own. Additionally, you deserve quality products and amenities; changes like this will ensure that we never compromise in those areas.

Please keep in mind that all service prices listed on our website are *starting* prices and are NOT a guarantee of the final ticket total. If you desire a precise quote, we encourage you to schedule a free consultation with the stylist of your choice.

As of April 11th, all services that were already scheduled for May 2nd or later will be charged former starting prices, only for your next single scheduled service.

Our newest stylist @carrie.does.thairapy is seeking highlight models to polish her skills! One model for partial/full foil highlight and one model for balayage. Please read all of the details before messaging to see if you are interested *and* qualify for our model needs, which are as follows:
⭐️You pay her model starting price of $100 (includes the highlight, one toner, and a Botanical Repair Treatment) *PLUS* any additional costs for extra bowls of color or additional toners if necessary
⭐️Hair must be below the shoulders, but no longer than mid-back
⭐️Virgin (no existing color) hair *OR* last color service was no more than 8 weeks out
⭐️NO BOX DYE OR AT-HOME COLOR
