Nike SB Set To Re-release Gino Iannucci’s First Series Dunk

Nike SB Set To Re-release Gino Iannucci’s First Series Dunk

Nike Sb Dunk High Gino Black Blue 1

Celebrating 15 years of the Nike SB Dunk, this year the brand has chosen to bring some of the very first Dunk Low colorways ever released back in a remastered high-top form. Already dropping Richard Mulder’s classic white and blue colorway and the denim Dunk by Reese Forbes as high-tops, next up is the original version created by another one of the first Nike SB riders, Gino Iannucci. Any Dunk collector will instantly recognize the classic colorway by Gino from 2002, featuring a perforated dark blue leather base with black suede overlays and grey Swooshes.

Looking back at the historic colorway Gino reflects on what his inspiration was for the design: “I just wanted to use colors I knew I’d actually wear and perforated leather I have always loved. The suede and leather combo seemed solid, so it was as simple as that.”

The Nike SB Dunk High Pro “Gino” is available July 27th on the Nike SNKRS app, Nike.com, and at select retailers.
