SNK dropped the Playmore part of their name to signify them leaving the Pachinko business behind to focus on the gaming market like in the old days. So far, we only have KOF XIV and the Eshop rereleases to show for it so I'm interested in seeing where they're heading next.

I'd love to see some new games on new hardware. They don't even need to be pushing for the latest tech, just aslong as they can make games with good looking 2D or cell shaded games. And a decent emulator for their previous consoles.

It would be great to see a new AOF game. I just bought AOF 2 on the Xbox one along with Samurai Showdown. I still have my Neo Gel cart and CD systems. And it nice to see that SNK are doing well these days. I always loved their games and believed that they were better than Capcom's especially their fighting games. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us!

@Anguspuss They didn't, Tommo suckered them from appearances. Once they found out how problematic it was and the anger it caused buyers they killed the contract and shut them down which is why it dropped off the market. They care to some degree, even if it is at least some cover your ass type moves.

I don't see them getting back into full scale hardware as it's been too long, but if they got a group (or their Chinese overlords own something already) together and did a proper mini-console launch of their old stuff in a locked or not style box it would be welcome as long as Tommo is kept a mile away at all times.

Seems like the Switch audience would totally be primed for this (and it's on the Vita)...the age old question again - why not have a port for the Switch?

Maybe since it's just a port it's planned for the Switch Hamster ACA releases? They have so far in much lesser time got the most releases/unique releases over Sony and MS.

OK, so Im an old man at 34 but Im an SNK nut! Anything SNK makes me open my wallet on the spot. Im a HUGE collector, fan and player of the Home-Cart (ROM/AES) and CD (CDZ) systems and have been buying Cart and CD games for the last 27 and 24 years respectively. Since 2004 we've had a handful of 'non official SNK' releases, but should we get a new official SNK Home-Cart release, I'll loose my mind!! Im SO EXCITED! MJ

It better be a KOF15 for Switch, if not that then maybe a Samurai Shodown 7 for Switch. Either one is okay with me, also SNK better go back to the awesome hand drawn HD sprite work of KOF12 & 13. Those PS2 style cookie cutter 3D models of KOF14 was lame and uninspired (not that it makes the game bad though), give us the hand drawn HD sprites and I'll buy the game day one just like I did KOF12 & 13. There's a reason I didn't buy KOF14 and Samurai Shodown Sen and if SNK continues to give us lame 3D fighters, I'll probably keep avoiding those til they listen.

I say HOPEFULLY this comes out as an ACA NEOGEO title. It was the last NEOGEO title ever produced, so it still counts!

@masterLEON Meh if it's just Samurai Shodown V Special then I'll pass. Just so you know I already got every main Samurai Shodown games (including SSV Special) I ever need on the MAME emulator for PC anyways which runs very good already. Besides Samurai Shodown V Special doesn't had much to offer other than the boss characters and those hard to pull off fatalities. I think I won't be missing much by skipping on that one. Until Samurai Shodown 7 exist, I'll just continue wasting my time with these HAMSTER release or go back to the Samurai Shodown Anthology game on Wii or PSP.
