On Friday, we added Fuzzy Bible Search to our Starter, Full, and Extended Feature sets and Bible Browser to our Full Feature Set.

We believe that both of these tools add a lot of value for customers who do not have access to Logos Now. Both tools are designed to be useful for anyone doing Bible study—from the beginner up to the expert.

Learn more about Fuzzy Bible Search here and Bible Browser here.

As of Friday, every new and existing owner of Starter Feature Set and up now has access to Fuzzy Bible Search, and every new and existing owner of Full Feature Set now has access to Bible Browser.

Thanks!

They should have. If not, try updating your software.

I haven't received this update. Product comparison page shows that Bible Browser is the only feature from the Logos 7 Full Feature Set that shows up as "New To You". Manual update does not find any new updates available.

Are you saying you don't have access to either Fuzzy Search or the Bible Browser? Or that you have access to Fuzzy Search but not the Bible Browser?

Which Logos 7 Feature Set have you purchased?

I did not have access to Bible Browser. As I investigated further, I noticed that I could purchase the Logos 7 Full Feature Set at a cost of $0.00. I did so, and I now have the Bible Browser (and, likely, Fuzzy Search as well; I need to track down how to access that one, though).

Your last question reminded me that I had purchased the Verbum 7 Full Feature Set. This is the most likely explanation for what I encountered.

All is now well for me on this subject. Thanks for the quick assist!

Fuzzy Bible search is introduced and outlined at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/132569.aspx

Thank you, Ben!  I see these as very practical and significant core-value features that do a lot to boost the value of Logos to the entire current Logos community as well as to prospective customers comparing Logos to other Bible software apps.

In regard to the Fuzzy Bible search though, unless Faithlife intends to expand fuzzy search capabilities to other resources, I don't at all follow the logic of  locating it under the "Basic" search category instead of the "Bible" search category.

I agree that Fuzzy would be more accessible as a sub-category of Bible. There is also the idiosyncracy of having separate Atlas and Factbook sub-categories under Basic when they (as well as Fuzzy) appear under Everything.

Adding it to Everything Search was easiest, so it went there first. We plan to add it to Bible Search as well. I'll make sure it's in our backlog for an upcoming development sprint.

The web app already has it in Bible search. We didn't have the same technical constraints there as we do in desktop. Eventually, it'll likely be in both places on both platforms.

This is pretty funny.  I just subscribed to Logos Now to get Fuzzy Bible Search and the Bible Browser mainly. Ah well. I am sure to get full value for my subscription anyway. . .

I want to thank Logos for their decision to make the Bible Browser Tool available outside of the the Logos 7 Extended Feature Set. Many of us longtime loyal customers were initially very disappointed, if not outright angry, that this resource had been tied to a specific product upgrade/purchase. The fact that you read our complaints and listened to our concerns has greatly helped to restore my faith in your company. Again, thank you and may God bless you all.

Just saw this!  This is pretty dang cool and figured a bump might be a good idea.

My thoughts were that these would be future paid Logos 8 features (which would have been fine), but to roll them out to current Logos 7 owners is generous IMHO! I know it's been mentioned about how it can be frustrating to have to pay to update year after year to stay "current."  I've accepted that as the norm for tech and software, but I appreciate this move to give access to the Web App, Fuzzy Search, and Bible Browser to existing L7'ers.

In that vein, I'm curious what's next for Logos Now? Onwards and upwards into the text!
