For those who wants to try out the new MIUI 9 Beta/ Alpha rom.

Expect bugs.
No gapps(install yourself)
some Chinese bloatware installed.
Alpha will get faster updates with more bugs.
Beta will get slower updates with lesser bugs.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation:
1. after flashing from Fastboot you'll have to install TWRP recovery again.
2. before booting into rom, flash SuperSU zip from TWRP (Download from official super su site) and reboot.
3. download http://www.mediafire.com/file/7ryryrgxp1v05bd/Google+Installer_2.0.apk this and install.
4. go to recovery and flash gapps.
5. reboot.

I thought miui officials will provide links for new flashable zips but they just pushing updates only via OTA. I don't have Mi6 so won't be able to grab the OTA links for new builds.

(I didn't build this rom, I'm just sharing the goodness)

can't tell, I don't have Mi6. performance should be really good btw...

performance is good but sot is bad compared to miui 8. on epic rom i use to get 8 hours, now its 5.5. i thinks because it's not stable enough and all the garbage Chinese stuff...

just root and remove all the Chinese bloatware using titanium backup or something like that.

Installed few minutes ago. It amazingly fast way more than miui 8. I'll check SOT tomorrow

So far so good. Let's say 6%=30min. 12%=1 hour. So approx 7 hours sot expected with fb, yt, Spotify and messenger.

Does the camera allow longer exposure times than 1/4s and ISO lower than 100?

Same notifications. Max 1/4sec. 100 ISO Lowest.

Not fixed.

SOT ~7.5 hours. Basic stuff, facebook, messenger, chrome browsing, spotify all the time or youtube in background. Not bad in my consideration

Any major bugs?, my debloater scripts i used on miui 8 seems a bit to strict, have to rework them tonight.
Did anyone manage to remove encryption on the miui9?
