Amala Paul opens up about her character in VIP 2
Amala Paul, who reprises her role of Shalini from Velai Illa Pattathari in the upcoming release VIP 2, has opened up about her role in the movie directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth.
“My character is an extension of Shalini from ‘VIP‘. Audiences will get to see a different version of the character because she is married now and hence playing it was a new and different experience. The entire team is very excited about the movie. VIP 2 is much more stylish than VIP,” said Amala Paul in a video promo released by the team.
Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations and Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, VIP 2 will see Dhanush and Kajol lock horns with each other. The movie is slated to release on July 28th on Dhanush’s birthday.
