Application value of laparoscopy combined with colonoscopy in treatment of colorectal polyps and polyp canceration

Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical application value of laparoscopy combined with colonoscopy in treatment of colorectal polyps and polyp canceration.Methods A retrospective study was performed on 86 cases of patients with colorectal polyps who were admitted from January 2014 to January 2016.Patients were randomly divided into Group A and Group B,with 43 case in each group.Patients in Group A underwent colonoscopic surgery,and the others in Group B underwent laparoscopy combined with colonoscopy.The total effective rate,intra-operative,postoperative recovery,and the incidence rate of complications between the two groups were recorded.In addition,the residual rate and recurrence rate of postoperative observation of polyps in patients during 6 months of follow-up were analyzed.Results The total effective rate of Group B was 88.4%(38/43),which was significantly higher than that of Group A(60.5%,26/43),P<0.01.The intra-operative blood loss and operation time of Group B were significantly lower than those of Group A(P<0.01).Compared with Group A,the postoperative recovery of Group B improved significantly(P<0.01);the complications, polyp residue and recurrence rate of Group A were significantly higher than those of Group B(all P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic combines with colonoscopy minimally invasive technique can be effective in the treatment of colorectal polyps,which improves the perioperative and postoperative related indicators.At the same time,it reduces the incidence ofcomplications,recurrence rate and residual in patients with polyp,which provides a new way for the clinical treatment of colorectal polyps,and it is worth of clinical promotion.
