Abstract: Objective To evaluate the association of CT and clinical features with the exon 19 of EGFR mutations in patients with lung adenocarcinoma. Methods 581 Patients who underwent chest CT scan and were detected for the EGFR gene mutations were included. There are 25 CT and clinical features to make the qualitative evaluation.Statistical analysis was used to assess the association of characterizations between EGFR wild types and EGFR mutations in exon 19.P-values <0.05 were cnsidered significant. Results Of 581 patients,132 were positive for EGRF mutation in exon 19 (22.7%);449 were EGFR wild types (77.3%).EGRF mutation in exon 19 was associated with small maximum diameter(28.51 ± 14.07) (OR =0.982);sex (OR =0.380);pleural retraction (OR =2.093);absence of fibrosis (OR =0.288).Conclusion This study revealed associations between CT and clinical features and EGFR mutations in exon 19.
