Woman arrested over murder of man in Sapporo apartment

Jun 15 (Japan Today) - Police in Sapporo on Wednesday arrested a 30-year-old woman on suspicion of killing a man with whom she was having a relationship.

According to police, Aina Tachibana called 110 at around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday and said she had stabbed her boyfriend, Fuji TV reported. Police went to the apartment in Kiyota Ward and found the body of a man in his 50s, who had been stabbed in the chest. Police said Tachibana and the victim had been living together.
