It's pretty straightforward gameplay with an "auto quest" function which some like but i personally hate as it takes a lot of the playing away. Besides that the game is very pretty, good gameplay when not on auto, interesting story, and just all around good. This is actually my favorite of all of these action MMO games, if u like Lineage on PC then u will like this. It's free so give it a shot.
I despise auto play but if it is not too intrusive and you can play the whole game without auto play I'm fine with it,only using it when really needed, when is it releasing in Canada?
Yeah I agree. I too hate auto play. Mmorpg are about skill... so auto play shouldn't be allowed. I used to play this on pc... wonder how it is compared to that?
Used to play Lineage 2 after NCSOFT ruined it,did not see the game in it's glory day but now PC is mostly fast leveling with nearly nothing except grinding mobs,no lore, barely no exploration, story,it's just killing monsters over and over, was it that mess before? Will probably avoid Lineage Revolution because auto play should be banned it's basically legal botting and it should not be,I understand when the map is massive and it allow you to get in zone that are too far away, but on mobile where the world is smaller it have no reason to exist, afk activities are fine sure, but allow us to fight and explore in our own ways,if I want to watch a game I will go to Twitch or Youtube,it's dumb, boring, insulting to the intelligence and the reason why we still don't have a real mmo on ios(except old games like the Asobimo mmos and Eternally in beta(Adventure Quest 3D).It seem that ios will never be a place for console and PC players and it will never have it's own iconic games that are not insanely far too casual to be okay,as in literally clickers or interactive movies(not the good kind),do people really love watching a game playing itself, are people really getting that bored and...where are the mmos that we used to and some we still have on PC,ios do have potential so why is it wasted like that?
the graphics is nice, but gameplay is boring...... auto play made it worse, anyway this is how i felt...no offence. just found out it has controller support when i attached my gamevice .... )
Will registering for this game now using a SEA account mean being stuck on a regional server, or will there be one global server?
You pick a server when you start. So you can delete and redownload when it comes to your home country without issue.
An ok game if only for the visuals/graphics and huge open world. But the "auto-quest" feature, I don't like it. You're no longer playing the game, just watching. It sux
Auto is disabled for dungeons and PVP content. Not sure how to turn it off on quests but honestly, I don't mind it since I can grind out quests while doing something else (like working lol).
I don't know yet since I can't spend money even if I wanted to (I'm in the US but using my Philippines account). But I'll guess most of the free to play RPG have to make money somehow so if you put the cash down you get better stuff. How else are they going to make money to provide more content/keep the servers running? It's still early so I'm not sure how far in the dust you get left behind if you're free to play. Some games allow you to compete with the P2P players but just not the top-tier spenders which is fine. It also seems like they are generous giving out premium currency just for being an active player so that is nice.
people are saying about how the autoplay is bad idea, you do know you can turn it off while you doing quests? tap the auto button at the very bottom of the screen and it will stop auto questing.
i assume not long as its appeared over seas. I would say they testing the server etc as it seems to be in full english
From the comments left so far about the game most dont like the auto play but as i said before at lest this can be turned off, its just not made clear to the player. One comment left on the front page TA about developers should avoid this practice. Well thats not going to happen auto play especially in Asian countries autoplay has to be standard feature especially a RPG for to succeed over there. Autoplay has been around for us in the west too, it was just not as wide spread as it is now. One good example would be a football management, think about you set up your team etc and then sit back and watch what happens. Anyway back to the game Like other netmarble RPG there is collecting of loot, leveling up or upgrading of gear you get the picture you feel right at home with netmarble theme. Indeed it does copy other MMORPG by the "hands off" approach, you just tap the screen and the character goes to the next quest giver or kill X monsters with no input from the player. As like other RPG netmarble game its all about the big attacks with big effects and it does look good on a large screen as such iphone 6 and above, not sure if you enjoy it as much on small screen like the iphone 5s. Speaking of the iphone 5s. It will be difficult to play this game manual with out the help of autoplay due to how small the attack buttons are even on big iphone screen. Yet i did find when playing on manual i found the attack buttons didnt work when they suppose too i found i had to retap a more then once to fire off my attack move, plus often i found when i killed monster my character would often attack the next monster near to him cause i bashed the attack button once too many times, once again this doesnt happen on autoplay. It seems to be in proper english and not just translated and has a good plot to follow. Interesting i have yet to come across any sort of timer in the game. I can only assume this based around just how many potions you got avaible to keep yourself going which the game will fire off be it on manual or autoplay (you can adjust % of health you have before it uses one). Not sure what happens if you run out and have no money to buy some more as it seems each time i complete a quest i do get a few health bottles. Speaking of buying bottles you don't need to use real money it does seem you can use the gold that you get from completing quests, dailies etc. im enjoying the game so far but it wont be for everyone especially if you prefer to be more hands on.
