Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical features,diagnosis and treatment of the fungal infection of vocal cords.Methods 50 years old female patient who was reported as vocal cord leukoplakia on fibreoptic laryngoscopy (May 16,2015) was treated in our hospital.Literature was retrieval about vocal cord aspergillosis by CNKI,VIP,Wan Fang and PubMed in English database from 1995-2015.Total 34 cases of vocal cord aspergillosis was obtained from 24 articles.Results The patient was treated with surgery,postoperative pathological findings was vocal cord aspergillosis.Combined analysis of 33 cases of vocal cord aspergillosis was done.The results showed that 12 cases were male,24 female,mean age was 42.1 years old.The main clinical manifestation was the hoarseness of voice.All patients were treated with antifungal therapy.9 cases were underwent surgical intervention.Conclusion Vocal cord aspergillosis is rare disease,it's clinical manifestation is not typical so easily misdiagnosed in early stage.Diagnosis depends on pathological examination.Systemic or local antifungal therapy is the main treatment method.It has good prognosis.
