Abstract: Objestive:To discuss the application of aspirin in mucocutaneous lymphnode syndrome(MCLS, i,e. Kawasaki disease as shorten as KD) so as to provide a reference for rational use of the drug in clinic. Methods:The application of aspirin in children with MCLS was analyzed and evaluated by retrospective analysis of the medical record of a child with the disease on January 25, 2016 combined with the latest clinical evidence, based on which the dosage and course as well as the interaction with other nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) were discussed. Results:The dosages of aspirin in the acute phase and recovery phase of MCLS were different. Other NSAIDs, especially ibuprofen, might impact the anti-platelet cardioprotective effect of aspirin, while acetaminophen showed no impact. Ibuprofen and its analogues should be avoided for the children receiving the therapy with aspirin. Conclusion:The interaction of aspirin with other NSAIDs should be paid more attention in clinic so as to ensure the safety of drug use.
