Abstract: Objective:To investigate the application of antimicrobial agents for type Ⅰ incision in perioperative period before and after the special rectification activities in No.1 People’s Hospital of Dali City, and analyze and evaluate the rationality of drug use. Methods:A total of 3 354 patients having surgery with type Ⅰincisions in this hospital during July 2011 to December 2014 were randomly selected, among which the types of antibiotics, time for drug use and drug combination were investigated and analyzed. Results:Antibacterial drugs were used in 741 cases, indicating an application rate of 22.09%. A total of 11 types of antibiotics were used, most of which were cephalosporins, followed by cephamicins. The antibiotics were used in preoperative period in 643 cases, and 30 min~2 h before surgery in 631 cases, of which the reasonable application rate was 98.13%. The total time of prophylactic use of antimicrobial agents was less than 24 h in 295 cases(39.81%), not less than 24 h but less than 48 h in 129 cases(17.41%), not less than 48 h but not more than 72 h in 112 cases(15.11%), and more than 72 h in 205 cases(27.67%). Conclusion:The special rectiifcation activities of clinical drug use has achieved certain results, by which the perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis has been further standardized. However, there was still unreasonable drug use, while the withdrawal rate within 24 h was low and that more than 72 hours was high. The management of the above-mentioned issues should be strengthened.
