Dezeen is now among the 5,000 most popular websites in the world, according to web ranking firm Alexa.
Dezeen's popularity has soared over the past few months, with our Alexa ranking leaping from around 7,000th place in December to around 4,500 (the ranking fluctuates daily).
This makes us by far the world's most popular design website, with no other design sites inside the top 10,000.
Dezeen is also the only design site featured in the comment1000 list of most commented sites. Our ranking on the list has risen to 742 this month.
The popularity of Dezeen has grown steadily every year since we launched in 2006. Last year unique visitors were up nearly 11 per cent to over 20 million compared to 2015, with visits up 8.5 per cent to almost 50 million.
Last week Dezeen won two more major awards, scooping the Editorial Team of the Year and Best Use of Video prizes as the AOP Awards.
