You have questions about mysteries of the 'Cars' universe. So does the cast.

How do the cars of Cars reproduce? Why can't you see their interiors? Why are there no "children" cars? Do they die? Do they have souls? Do they ... eat those tractor cows?

Once you get started down this road, it gets weirder by the mile.

As the release of Cars 3 approaches, the internet has certainly had its way with these big questions. Back in April, Jay Ward, creative director of the Cars world at Pixar, just threw gasoline on the fire when he suggested a twisted origin theory hardly befitting of the friendly, googly-eyed denizens of Radiator Springs.

But if you thought these inquiries were taboo over at Disney/Pixar, they're not. No human of sound mind can be reasonably expected not to ponder them.

Not even the Cars cast.

In the video provided to Mashable (above), voice-cast members Owen Wilson, Armie Hammer, Nathan Fillion, Kerry Washington and more openly discuss their own burning questions about what sort of automotive sorcery is at play here.

Keep your eyes peeled for clues this weekend, when Cars 3 hits theaters around the world.
