Simone Gately shot to fame after launching her Instagram account last December and quickly gained a strong following thanks to her steady stream of fitspiration snaps.

Proving that she’s still keeping her incredibly chiselled physique in check, Simone stripped down to a skintight black swimsuit and flaunted her assets while she enjoyed a day at the pool yesterday.

The blonde babe put her toned bum on full display in the thong one-piece, which also featured a plunging neckline to accentuate her cleavage.

Despite spending the day indoors, Simone made sure she was still on top of her fashion game by accessorising her look with a wide gold belt cinched at her waist.

The 35-year-old gym bunny has five kids under the age of 10, but previously revealed she gained nearly 5st during her first pregnancy and a further 18st carrying the rest of her children.

But she was dedicated to shed the baby weight fast, so since having her first baby nine years ago, Simone transformed her diet and fitness regime with help from her husband Paul, 45, who works as an obesity professor.

Thanks to a few simple changes, the bombshell managed to ditch the baby fat in less than a year.

After her first pregnancy she slimmed right back down to a size six as she was due to wed Paul 10 months later.

Opening up about the process on Instagram, she said: “After having five children in six years it was never easy to lose the weight and tone up especially the tummy area.

“Firstly I want to say it is never ever a easy process no matter how easy people may make it look. Starting out is always the hardest point.”

Now the full-time mum starts her day at 5am with a gym session, followed by a dog walk or hike and even uses her children as weights for squats and press-ups.

Simone and Paul also encourage their brood to exercise regularly and have taken them on long walks from an early age.

The busy mum wakes up at the crack of dawn to get to the gym before the kids are up because she doesn’t think she’d be able to “cope without the gym”.

Revealing some of her fitness secrets, Simone said: “I now only do 20 minute workouts on my full body two to three times a week using weights at home or at the gym.

“I found with my workouts I lost up to 3st in 12 weeks each time. I also walk as much as I can and always take the stairs.

“Work smarter not harder. I love my express workouts.”

Simone’s day on a plate:

Breakfast: Fruit, Yogurt and Granola plus two boiled eggs

Lunch: Wholegrain salad with salmon or chicken

Dinner: Fish and Vegetables / Turkey mince and roasted vegetables

Snacks: Oat cakes / Popcorn
