While the internet is full of terrible mashups, it makes the good ones stand out that much more. We’ll never forget Linkin Park/”Gangam Style”, or the time Meshuggah mixed well with Space Jam. Other notable ones include Mötley Crüe and The Beatles, Hall and Oates/Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold/Katy Perry, Drake/Danzig, and let’s not forget, the legendary David Bowie/Lemmy. However, a new mashup featuring Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper,” and Michael Jackson’s “Beat It,” is as seamless as it can get.

Additionally, the song mixes samples of Anthrax’s “Caught in a Mosh,” Billy Idol’s, “White Wedding” and Judas Priest’s “Painkiller.” According to YouTuber Nightmare Lyra, the combination was inspired after playing a few riffs on the ukulele, realizing “The Trooper” and “Beat It” were similar.
