International Broadcasters Eager to Snap Up ‘Mia and Me’ Season 3

m4e strikes international broadcast deals for season 3 of its flagship show with partners for Nordic regions, Benelux, Estonia, Portugal, France and Thailand.

MUNICH, GERMANY -- German brand management and media company m4e AG has signed various agreements for the latest installment of its successful TV series Mia and Me (78 x 23 minutes). Nickelodeon has acquired the pay-TV rights on the new season 3 for the Nordic territories, as well as free-TV and pay-TV rights for Benelux. The free-TV rights were also picked up by Estonian Public Broadcasting ERR for its channel ETV2. Portugal’s Canal Panda will make Mia and Me available for cable and satellite television, with owner Dreamia taking hold of the pay-TV rights in the region. Turner will take the rights for France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Monaco, Switzerland and French-speaking Africa. For Thailand, TIGA Co. Ltd. has acquired the pay-TV rights.

Further agreements were signed with Australia’s Channel 11 on the free-TV rights for all three seasons of Mia and Me, and Globosat has renewed its Pay-TV rights for season 1 in Brazil.

Season 3 of Mia and Me recently premiered on German kids’ channel KiKA with strong ratings, underlining continued success for the hybrid show, produced by Hahn & m4e Productions and distributed worldwide by m4e.
