Joshua Jackson congratulates ex Diane Kruger on Cannes win

Joshua Jackson congratulated ex-girlfriend Diane Kruger on her Best Actress victory at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday with a sweet note on Instagram.

“Yes she Cannes,” Jackson began. “Having witnessed the integrity and dedication that you bring to every job, I’m over the moon to see you getting the recognition you deserve. Only question is what took ’em so long! Congratulations, Josh #dianekruger.”

Kruger, 40, took home the top honors for her performance in the drama “In the Fade,” which documents the fallout of a deadly bombing. She also thanked Jackson for his kind words with a heart emoji.

The actress and Jackson, 38, dated for a decade before calling it quits last July. She has since moved on to “The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus, 38.

Jackson, meanwhile, has struggled in the dating pond since the split.

“Things have changed a little bit since the last time I was single,” the “Dawson’s Creek” alum told Ellen DeGeneres in December. ““Everything is in your phone now. There’s no more talking to people anymore. You talk to somebody and they’re like, ‘Oh, no, we don’t do that anymore.’ So yeah, it’s been quite a big change.”
