Would you evers :Abandon this reality to go on an adventure in another. Do you worry about your loved ones missing you? Do you bring your pets? What do you bring to prepare?

Abso-freaking-lutely. 

I would miss my kitties very much, but I would probably not bring them. I think they would be super unhappy with the bother of exploring another reality. UNLESS in this reality they can talk and are willing to follow directions to some degree? In the current reality, the kitties aren’t even allowed outside, so taking them off into possible danger is off the table. Besides, what if the new reality has… super fleas or something? I do not need to be dealing with super fleas whilst exploring a new reality.

I WOULD bring some people with me, though, which would probably alleviate being concerned about my loved ones missing me, and hopefully there’s a way to eventually come home…? 

As for what to bring - I have 0 idea what one brings on inter-reality exploration trips. How much can I bring? Can my car go to the new reality with me? A motor-home? Is there gasoline there? Lacking that information, I would just pack my hiking bag with survival essentials and hope for the best? xD
