Former NBA player and coach Derek Fisher has reportedly been charged with two counts of DUI for his June 4 crash that left his Cadillac Escalade flipped over on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles, according to TMZ Sports.

If convicted, Fisher faces a maximum sentence of six months in prison.

Fisher was with his girlfriend, Gloria Govan, at the time of the crash. He reportedly lost control of his vehicle at around 3 a.m. and crashed into a guardrail before flipping, per TMZ Sports.

Nobody was hurt in the crash, and Fisher was then arrested.

"We are beyond grateful that we are both OK and no one else was involved," Fisher and Govan said in a joint statement, per Des Bieler of the Washington Post.

Additionally, Fisher told TMZ Sports following the crash: "The most important part is that we're here and that no one else was injured. So from here, just focusing on the positives."

TMZ Sports also reported the Escalade was registered to NBA free agent Matt Barnes, Govan's ex-husband. The couple had two children together, with Barnes reportedly giving her the car "for the kids."
