So why not a classy glass of wine sipped from a plastic tumbler? I mean, only a true wine snob would wrinkle up his nose if you poured him an aromatic bordeaux and served it up in anything but fine crystal.

Even so, I see no reason not to grant these glasses 5 Stars and to recommend them.

Very practical and useful if you have kids, pets, or butter fingers. To test if it's really unbreakable, I dropped one from my eye level to the kitchen floor thinking "this better not make a mess" -- Nope! Not at all! Not a scratch. I have probably 3 left out of a set of 16 glasses I purchased on Amazon. No more buying those for a long time!! These will be very handy for daily use and my go to glasses for picnics and outdoor events. They aren't as fancy looking but they are much more durable.

I love these polycarbonate wine glasses for eating outdoors in the summer. It's so nice to know that if you drop these, they aren't going to break. I was given a picnic basket with wine glasses similar to this that broke almost immediately. They were really cheap melamine and not at all as nice as these. I'm so glad I have these now to replace those and that I can rest assured that they won't break again.
The glasses are really crystal clear, and upon first glance, they really do look like glass. Once you pick them up and examine them, you can tell they are plastic, but they definitely give the appearance of nice glass. These are suitable for a variety of other uses as well like individual fruit cups at a picnic or for mini desserts. I am really impressed with these glasses and I would definitely recommend these.
