    2013 was an epic year for pop culture.

    GoT's "Red Wedding" episode aired. Beyoncé did a pre-"Formation" performance at the Super Bowl with Destiny's Child. Jennifer Lawrence began her clumsy phase and fell at the Oscars. Not to mention, Kimye got engaged and the Harlem Shake flooded your Facebook timelines.

    But not all moments that year were winners...

    There I was yesterday, just whipping up some breakfast, listening to Pandora, minding my OWN DAMN BUSINESS, when what do I hear but a little ol' song known as...

    "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)"

    For anyone who was in college in 2013, you'll understand when I say my immediate reaction was something like:

    Mostly because I forgot that this song was even a thing, but then I remembered just HOW BIG of a thing it was. I mean, you couldn't go to a party, spend a day out on the quad, or even eat a meal in the dining hall without hearing this tune in your ear. You know I'm not exaggerating when I say IT WAS EVERYWHERE.

    For those who are somehow unaware, "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)" was a song released in September 2013 by Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis.

    It was essentially a warped, EDM version of "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" and saying that it went viral would be an understatement.

    It was YouTube's top trending video of 2013, and currently has over 670 million views.

    It went on to inspire a hilarious SNL parody with Kerry Washington and Jay Pharoah.

    Celebs performed it on Dancing With the Stars, it was MADE INTO A BOOK (yes, seriously), and Morgan Freeman himself took a stab at the lyrics.
