Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.77% or 0.68 points to trade at 39.07 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.93% or 6.0 points to end at 650.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.55% or 4.0 points to 736.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 1.93% or 240 points to trade at 12170 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 1.87% or 7.9 points to end at 414.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 1.76% or 10.5 points to 587.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 48 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) rose to all time highs; up 0.55% or 4.0 to 736.5.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.63% or 1.17 to $43.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.37% or 1.11 to hit $45.80 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.19 to trade at $1245.51 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.6866, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 97.46.
