At this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon, Japan-based 3D Design tuner introduced to the public a unique M2 project. Painted in the beautiful, yet challenging to achieve Pure Metal Silver, the M2 is a stunning machine to look at. BMW Individual Pure Metal Silver is the most expensive paint from BMW. The color was first shown on the BMW M5 Facelift. It looks amazing, has a chrome-like finish and extraordinary brilliance. According to Toru Endo at 3D Design, painting the M2 in Pure Metal Silver was a challenging and time consuming task, but the company is extremely pleased with the result.

The M2 also features an aero kit from 3D Design which includes a front lip spoiler made of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer that also comes with the front canards included. It’s a plug and play solution so it will fit the standard BMW M2 front bumper without needing any additional modifications. On the sides you can get a set of new side skirts made of the same material while round the back 3D Design is offering a new diffuser and a spoiler.

Another highlight of the M2 project is the Type III forged wheels can be had in 19- and 20-inch guises and in a variety of finishes.

Under the hood, the M2 by 3D Design received a power upgrade as well, now delivering 444 horsepower, thanks to the 3D Design booster chip, high flow intake system, cat-back exhaust, and intercooler (still under development).
