Yet another right-back linked and Bongani Zungu, who?

TRANSFER TALK

Soccer Ladurna are claiming that Tottenham Hotspur are the unnamed English club who have placed a £5.25 million (€6m - AUS$8.87m - US$6.72m) bid for 24-year-old (25 in October) Bongani Zungu to Portuguses Primeira Liga side Vitoria de Guimaraes.

They start their article by saying Spurs are the team who have placed the bid and end it by saying it remains to be seen which English club have made the bid.

The South African (he has 20 full international caps scoring 2 goals) right-footed central midfielder seems to generally be linked with Championship side Sheffield Wednesday so I can't see us having made a bid.

French newspaper L'Equipe are reporting that Tottenham are showing interest in another full-back, this time20-year-old (21 next February) Benjamin Henrichs.

The German international (he has 1 full international cap) Adidas sponsored right-back has a contract until 2022, he extended it last month so is unlikely, to put it mildly, to be looking for a move.

He played 24 games as a right-back, 9 games as a left-back and 3 as a substitute this season so again has the versatility Pochettino looks for. Given the length of his contract he transfer value is going to be at it's highest and a move by us for him would be a surprise.
