Any word on how the fire started?

It's far too early to announce on the cause. Fire Investigation Officers are still goig through the building, it will take weeks for the report.

The Mayor is right though.

Sam Watters. The first news stories told about a history of power surges and appliances smoking. A fridge is said to have maybe fused and caused the fire. But there has been no mention again, perhaps not to influence a jury if manslaughter is charged? Time will tell, very tragic.
