Brian Livingston and Bobby Roberti are vying for the seat. During the May 6 municipal election, Livingston received 44.5 percent of the vote, and Roberti received 22.3 percent of the vote. Because no one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, the city called a runoff election.
The following are the dates and times the polls will be open:
- May 30-31: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- June 1: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (Denton County polling locations), 8 a.m.-7 p.m. (Collin County polling locations)
- June 2-3: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- June 5-6: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
- June 10 (Election Day): 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
