Mattis's comments vs China's actions. Hmmm.... now which are irresponsible?

Hint. Which came first?

Clearly China's attempts to steal international waters and others exclusive economic zones is both illegal and provocative. Building man made islands does not give them sovereignty or legal rights to surrounding waters.

All countries have rights in international waters and in international airspace. China attempts to tell others they can not sail of fly within 12 miles of their artificial islands which are located in either others economic zones or international waters. China then puts weapons on these island but pleads innocent to causing tensions in the area. China makes unilateral claims that have no basis of legality outside of their Communist Party HQ.

China must shoulder full blame for any military tensions in the South China Seas as they only began once China began building islands. China needs to admit is mistake and return the islands to the seas and leave.

They have no rights in the South China Sea's above other international nations.

I like to separate China and the CCP.  The one's committing these actions is the CCP.  The one's causing these problems is the CCP and the corrupt elitists in the fold.

I'd like for this problem to be resolved, but with the Dumpster in office ofc it will not be resolved with a logically thinking person.

China is following a playbook.

Take a little. Build a little.

Take a little more. Build a little more.

Hope nobody notices.

Take a little more and more and more. Build up more and more and more.

Hope nobody notices again.

By the time anyone notices enough to complain, they have a village, then a town, then a city to protect.

That's their playbook. It may take 50-100 yrs, but everyone sees it coming.

On a reef.

I can see a day when China claims all waters between this reef and their mainland 600 miles away.

Chinas actions are illegal, they don't like being held to account, after all they can get away with murder at home so think they can do it abroad.

It's too bad that China isn't a little more adult on this matter. The US is quickly talking itself out of relevance on the world stage, and in other issues China is actually coming to sound like the adult in the room. But this issue isn't one of them. Hopefully they can drop this ridiculous sea-grab and be a little more mature about it.

China will eventually own the surrounding counties, as they are doing what the Japanese did back in the 80's... becoming the Banker of the World.

And when your debtors cant pay, you simply need to claim upon them - perhaps an island or two....

""China has indisputable sovereignty over the (Spratly) Islands and their adjacent waters," Hua said"

Sorry babe but the whole world disputes China's "sovereignty".
