The Minnesota Timberwolves drafted Kris Dunn last June and still have Ricky Rubio on their roster, but they remain interested in making a change at the point guard position.
If the Wolves successfully trade Rubio this offseason, they are expected to pursue a free agent point guard. The Wolves have interest in Jrue Holiday, George Hill and Jeff Teague. Holiday reportedly is willing to consider leaving the New Orleans Pelicans if he receives a four-year max deal. Minnesota doesn't have strong interest in Derrick Rose.
Minnesota has also been interested in bringing in point guards to consider drafting at No. 7. The Wolves are also interested in trading out of No. 7.
