Today during Sony's pre-E3 2017 livestream event, the company announced that GT Sport will launch on PlayStation 4 this fall. The racing game was originally slated to come out in 2016, but developer Polyphony Digital announced that it needed "more time to perfect" the game.

GT Sport will run at 4K and 60 FPS on PS4 Pro, Sony said during the livestream, adding that there will be HDR support as well for the game. GT Sport will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and is being developed to support PlayStation VR.
