New God of War Does Not Feature Original Kratos Voice Actor
Original Kratos voice actor TC Carson has confirmed that he is not set to return in the new God of War.
If you thought Kratos sounded a little different in the new God of War's debut gameplay demo (watch above), then we now know why. Kratos's original voice actor, TC Carson, has confirmed that you won't hear him return as the iconic character.
"To my folk, you've been wondering if I am voicing Kratos in [God of War] 4, I am not," Carson said on Twitter. "Sony went in a new direction. Let 'em know what you think."
Carson has voiced Kratos in all of his video game appearances, including PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and Mortal Kombat. The recently-announced God of War will be the first time he doesn't reprise the role.
Stargate SG-1 actor Christopher Judge has confirmed on Twitter that he will take over the very angry Spartan for the new God of War.
