About Our Minecraft Server

The Morse Library Minecraft server is a safe and free place for Natick Teens & Tweens to play Minecraft together! The server is open to Teens & Tweens in Grades 4-12. Our server is open 24/7 and can be accessed remotely; you do not need to be at the library.

MINECRAFT MAPS

1) Mayhem - our brand new all Survival, all PVP world - with Quests!

  • This world is a lot more lawless & "wild" than our regular world
  • Creative mode does NOT exist in Mayhem & there are no "time-outs" unless you negotiate them with other players.
  • Keep inventory is ON, but other players can steal your stuff if you don't protect it.

2) Morse - our original Creative/Survival world where players can change their own gamemode.

  • All Creative builds, mini games, etc. are here.
  • You can play Survival in this world if you'd like to.
  • Morse offers PVP in designated regions only.

Info for Parents

Why is the Morse Library providing a Minecraft server for Teens – and what is it?

1) The Morse Library’s Minecraft server offers Natick teens a safe space to play Minecraft together.

  • Unlike some public Minecraft servers, this server is only open to Teens & Tweens in Grades 4-12; adults are NOT allowed. Each individual needs to apply for server access, which means we know who the players are.
  • Players must sign a Minecraft Code of Conduct to get server access; violations of the code such as bullying other players & inappropriate language will result in a loss of server privileges.

2) A Minecraft server is a world that Minecraft players can enter & play the game in. Many Minecraft activities involve teamwork and social interaction, as well as creativity!

  • The library’s Minecraft server is FREE; players need their own PC/Mac Minecraft account
  • The server is accessible from outside the library (play from home!) & open all the time! Your Teen/Tween can play when it’s convenient for them – and you!
