Market Now: Idea Cellular top loser among Nifty Next 50 stocks

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Next 50 index was trading 0.33 per cent down at 26497.9 around 03:06 pm (IST) in Wednesday's trade.

Idea Cellular (down 2.72 per cent ), Cadila Healthcare (down 2.44 per cent ), Container Corporation of India (down 1.66 per cent ), Shriram Transport Finance Company (down 1.62 per cent ), Rural Electrification Corporation (down 1.51 per cent ), Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 1.46 per cent ), NMDC (down 1.33 per cent ), Shree Cements (down 1.31 per cent ), Bajaj Finserv (down 1.17 per cent ), Havells India (down 1.12 per cent ), LIC Housing Finance (down 0.81 per cent ) and Emami (down 0.80 per cent ) were among top losers in the index at around the same time.

On the contrary, shares of Punjab National Bank (up 2.18 per cent), ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company (up 2.12 per cent), Sun TV Network (up 1.54 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals (up 1.43 per cent), Bharat Electronics (up 0.94 per cent), Siemens (up 0.92 per cent), InterGlobe Aviation (up 0.90 per cent), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (up 0.87 per cent), Cummins India (up 0.67 per cent), Godrej Consumer Products (up 0.56 per cent), DLF (up 0.51 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (up 0.36 per cent), Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare (up 0.32 per cent), JSW Steel (up 0.30 per cent), United Breweries (up 0.27 per cent), Motherson Sumi Systems (up 0.23 per cent) and ABB India (up 0.15 per cent) were among top gainers.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 12.30 points at 9619.2, while BSE Sensex was up 64.49 points at 31167.98.

Among the 51 stocks in Nifty index, 27 were trading in green, while 23 were in red.
