Ryan emphasized that Sony has "no philosophical stance against cross-play at all," noting that the company has "done it in the past" and are "always open to conversations with any developer or publisher who wants to talk about it."
With regard to whether or not Sony will ever open its doors to cross-play for games like Minecraft and Rocket League in the future, Ryan said, "I don't think anything is ever a done deal.... That said, to my knowledge, there is no live conversation ongoing at the moment."
