Hello all!

I have the OBS Engine Nano for almost 2 months now. I started out by putting in the coil that came with it, which was very easy thanks to the simple build deck. After about a week I wanted to vape my own coils, but I did not manage to get the tank apart. I then tried to open it with a rubber glove, which helped a bit. The top part came loose, but the 'cage' of the tank is still stuck to the bottom.

Then, I've tried everything. I've put it in the freezer for 30min, I've heated it op with hot water, I've cooled the upper part and heated the lower part (and vice versa, to be sure), and most of all I've been trying to turn it loose for sooo many times, but it wouldn't help.

It doesn't mean that I cannot vape it anymore, but it makes inserting the coils a real pain in the .... Does anyone know any other solutions? And do you think I can return it to the vendor for a new one? I've bought it from 3fvape.com.

Thnx for the reply! But this one is threaded, unfortunately... I'm placing it in the freezer for a longer time tonight. Hope it helps. I'll let you guys know when it's solved.
Do you have a popsicle stick or something that you could fit very carefully between the bars on the cage to make a cheater bar? If you are very slow and careful, you might be able to get enough leverage to gently twist it off. If you twist too hard, you will bend the cage and ruin it, so be very careful. Try not to squeeze real hard on the bottom, too much force down there can actually be making it harder for it to turn. If you have a screw-on tank stand and a rubber glove, you might get better grip without pressing so hard on the base section. It will sound odd, but using less pressure may help more that really torquing down on the parts.

I'd just add that holding the stick at the bottom (as low as possible), would help prevent warping that cage, but try to not put any pressure on the posts.. and hold that base with a good rubber or similar grip.

lol did some of you guys even look at the pictures? First off it's impossible to mix up those tabs, not to mention the chamber w/ the tabs is already separated from the two peices he's talking about.

Id go with what the other guy said and gently turn it w/ a soft peice of wood, the threads aren't super fine, so it doesn't look cross threaded to me from the pics.
