Two friends play the absolute best ongoing game of 'The Floor is Lava' ever

Your favorite childhood game is back with a vengeance
By Samantha Scelzo  on

The death-defying, nerve-wrecking, parkour skill-flexing childhood game "The Floor is Lava" has gotten an adult makeover from two of its most serious contenders.

When friends Kevin Freshwater and Jahannah James get together, there's no telling when the lava will flow, but when it does, things get SERIOUS. And by serious, we mean that when one of them even says "the floor is lava," the other has no choice but to find safe ground in less than five seconds. This has resulted in maybe the longest ongoing game of "The Floor is Lava" in magma history.

What do they do if there's nothing but molten earth surrounding them? They have to get a bit creative - even if that means jumping on the counter of a fast food restaurant.
